The Reef and Wave Comp are designed for cutting edge, progressive wave sailing.
These designs are targeted for use in side-on through side-off wind conditions, and down the line wave riding.
These sails are especially suited for smaller sailors in any conditions due to the short boom and easy feel.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• All x-ply panel construction, vinyl window.
• Vinyl window gives the Reef a soft, elastic feel.
• Ultra narrow batten pockets to stabilize batten onto the surface of the sail
• Integrated, pre-tensioned, sewn-in leech line for durability.
• Short, very surf oriented boom lengths (among the shortest of any sail maker)
• Horizontal seam shaping for precise foil placement.

LESS BODY SHAPE ABOVE THE BOOM
• Increased high wind performance.
• A more "bladey" type of feel. This makes the sails
much more maneuverable, both on the water and in the air. This bladey
feel makes it easier to change your body position quickly, and initiate
radical direction changes with less effort.
NEW INTEGRATED MAST PAD WITH ELASTIC STRETCH PANELS
• Easier to rig, de-rig, and roll the sail.
• Easier to adjust the base while the sail is rigged.
DESIGNED ON REDUCED DIAMETER MASTS
• Designed using the new Simmer SC RDM, but compatible with other reduced diameter masts.
• Still compatible with standard diameter masts. Exceptional in high end control.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN REEF AND WAVE COMP
MATERIALS
Wave comp body panels are all 7 mil mono-film
Reef body panels are all 5 mil x-ply with a vinyl window
DURABILITY
The reef is the most indestructible sail with all x-ply construction and a vinyl window that will have the longest normal use life
The wave comp is also strong, but the all mono-film construction sacrifices some tear strength for maximum visibility and a direct feel
FEEL
The reef has a slightly softer feel than the wave comp-
Some sailors find this softer feel to be a little more forgiving in radical maneuvers
The wave comp has a very direct, instantly responsive feel-
Some sailors prefer this for instant speed and full throttle sailing.
