CRUISER This project is the result of long and fastidious research by our R&D department. We have developed a new concept of board completely geared towards accessibility and performance. The result is a board so innovative in its concept that it will revolutionize the world of windsurfing. Performance and racing : Although we have loaded this board with plenty of ‘user’friendly’ features, we haven’t forgotten that everyone loves to go fast! So we have incorporated many of the design elements from our race boards into this model, thus it is legal for Formula racing. This model will be the most affordable ($799) formula board on the market. It will be the perfect board for the recreational racer or for a family. If you want one board to do it all, you should choose the CRUISER. Storage : You’ll find the innovative hatch very convenient. Just a small list of items to consider taking with you : extra line, safety equipment, tools, whistle, water bottle, car keys, camera, suncreen, etc… Mobility : Now we’ve gone one step further yet! The fully integrated travel wheel makes this board the easiest to transport in the world. Even a child can easily move this board. So simple, yet so sophisticated. We listened to what sailors (especially beginners and recreational sailors) wanted in a board. They told us what features they liked and which they didn’t. So we listened and we designed. This concept combines all the great features that a board can have and includes some you may never have thought of before! Deck Pad : The deck has integrated padz on its entire surface. This provides not only a comfortable surface but also protects the sailor (and the board) from bumps and scrapes. Center Fin : For beginners the center fin design by Exocet will give all the stability you need. The centerboard has a very wide and round outline and a thick foil. The tail fin (also designed by Exocet) has a very thick foil for maximum lift . The board can be sailed with the center fin and back fin, or with the tail fin only. (The board comes with a center fin cover.)
