French Mag Reviews.....

Wave 77 Litres. 2.44 M * 0.54. Wind 260. Sept 02.

This board is really efficient to use and truly fun to ride. Super light feeling (6.4 Kg with fin, foot pads and foot straps !), it's quick to get planning besides a round rocker line and soft rails, very sharp on tail. Very comfortable because of thick pads with double density heels bumpers and Da Kine foot straps, the board is easy to make carve and holds a perfect curve. You can push as hard as you want, change in direction is quick and fabulous. First class soft and precision ride for this production board which is original and very nice. Good job !

Slalom 95 Liters. 2.75*0.58 Wind 258. July 02.

We tried this board during an official speed crossing. Besides a solid 30 knots blowing wing and a 58 cm width, we rode a super easy to control board, even when completely over powered. Stability at full speed is impressive and the board stays stuck on its trimming. It's completely new for a dedicated slalom board. The boat speed is endless and the board doesn't need to be drive by a super strong or a lot of skills rider. Jibe is fast and easy, and this 95 liters board gets a huge wind range. Weight and stiffness give a boost to the board. Comfort is perfect, because of good Da Kine foot straps and pads and a easiness in the worst chop. The look is completely different from what we are used to see and we like it. Anders and his shaper, Maurizio Ubaldi have done a good job with this first class product.

3ride 93 liters. 2.65*0.60 Wind 258. July 02.

We tried the board on flat water. With a very round outline, the board is easy to jibe and got a very soft ride. But it also a very responsive board with a quick planning and very fast in reaches. You can race your buddies or tried all free style tricks. Because of the feeling in jibes, we could also guess a good handling in waves. Congratulation to the English designer. The look is different and very modern, with a lot of fresh colors.

Slalom 110 liters. 2.80*0.62 PlancheMag 245. July 02.

Rocker line is constant. Outline is straight and rails are tucked. Very light, the board gets planning in light wind and has a lot of acceleration. Very comfortable, the ride is nice and wind range is huge. You can easily use it with more than 25 knots of wind. It's the best on beam reaches and downwind. You have a boost and the board doesn't fly. You don't need to use too much your muscles. Easy to handle, speed is easy to keep till exit of your jibe. A very good board for speed crossing and cruising, which holds lulls and gusts by keeping its boat speed. We could not try the latest fin design which should give an extra boost. A board on the top for riders more than 85 kg (185 lbs) with 6.0 to 8.0 sails.

3ride 103 Liters. 2.75*0.65. PlancheMag 245. July 02.

With a constant and a high rocker line, tucked rails, this board is thin and wide. You can choose your foot straps position and you get a 34 cm free ride fin. Very light and stable, we have been charmed by this board. The ride is super soft and boat speed is close to a truly slalom board. It gets a quick planning and stays easy even in the worst chop and strong gusts. A very good balance combined with a perfect smooth ride. Next time, we feel ready to use it in waves. A new reference in free ride class for who like to be fast with a lot of comfort on a wide wind range (5.0 to 8.0).
