Jean-Marie Guiriec (shaper/designer) has over 10 years experience in his field. His experience gained on the designs for a carbon mast for the Americas Cup and for a 60' trimaran prepared him for his future role at Exocet.

This "master of materials" has researched thousands of ideas and projects over the years and is indeed one of the most knowledgeable craftsman in the world in the field of composite materials. The sandwich construction technology that is used by Exocet is achieved through the use of several control molds and test processes. That ensures a consistent high quality product. Shock Absorber Pads are special 3D discs set into the board for an awesome ride, extra comfort and total control.
